Maggie-Rally-BRP-map facebook The Blue Ridge Parkway today is in many ways what it has been for all its years – a ribbon of highway along the high Appalachian ridges of the Southeast. The Blue Ridge Parkway is a automotive / motorcycle enthusiasts paradise with winding roads through the mountains and the views are breathtaking.

Maggie-Rally-209-map facebook NC 209 “The Rattler” has a little bit of everything a motorcycle rider is looking for – pastoral valley views, challenging mountain climbs, twisty and tight technical sections, and a great little mountain town to visit – Hot Springs, NC. A popular weekend ride from Asheville, Maggie Valley, and Waynesville, it can be a lazy roll through the scenic countryside or a place to test the edge of your tires.

Maggie-Rally-Dragon facebook The Tail of the Dragon with 318 curves in 11 miles, is America’s number one motorcycle and sports car road. Designated US 129, the road is bordered by the Great Smoky Mountains and the Cherokee National Forest, with no intersecting roads or driveways to hamper your travel. It is considered “the destination” for thousands of motorcycle and sports car fans throughout the spring, summer, and fall. Can you brave it? It’s best to be cautious as the turns are tight, but the Tail of the Dragon is guaranteed to be the ride of your life!

Enjoy these Great Rides at your own pace from the Maggie Valley Festival Grounds.   Enjoy the views and attractions alone these routes.
